We are now accepting applications for upcoming healing arts workshops. Our criteria includes the following:
|Youngsters age 4-17 experiencing:|
Victims of or witnesses to:
· Crime or violence
· Abuse or neglect
· Acts of war or terrorism
· Chronic illnesses
· Undergoing chemotherapy
· Undergoing physical rehabilitation
· Relocation (including foster care moves and adoption)
· Death or separation
· Emotional or behavioral problems
· Developmental disabilities or delays
· Loss or limitation of mobility
· Receptive or expressive communication deficiencies
Special programs have been designed to reach children who do not respond well to traditional therapy.
Mending Arts can also provide an adjunctive opportunity for healing.

Transportation, snacks, and certificates of completion are provided.
Children who are not group ready or who are not group appropriate may be seen for individual creative arts therapy provided by a master’s level, board certified or registered art, dance, poetry or drama therapist. These services are provided based on a sliding scale fee of $55-$100 per 50 minute hour. Our therapists are also available for in-home therapy for medically needy children. Please call for those sliding scale fees.
