Our highly experienced creative arts therapists include masters level, board certified art, music, dance, and drama therapists as well as a certified bedside harpist, horticulture therapist and a poetry therapist. They are available for hourly, seasonal or short term contracted work in hospitals, clinics and cancer centers throughout northern New Jersey. We also maintain an active roster of screened, trained professional visual and performing artists who are available to act as teaching artists to co-facilitate patient groups with our therapists or provide performances for patients. Contact Creative Heartwork if you would like us to provide innovative, customized workshops for patients and/or patients and their caregivers or significant others.
Creative Heartwork therapists are also available for presentations, lectures, staff trainings and experientials that can enhance existing professional development content for healthcare staff and mental health clinicians in social service agencies. In addition, consider utilizing creative arts therapies such as drum circles to enhance listening skills, promote team building, reduce stress, increase morale and foster creativity among employees.
